MINISTRY ACTIVITIES: September - October 2002

MINISTERING IN NEIGHBOURING CHURCHES

In this past two months God opened a door for me to preach in several churches in Bourgas and the region.

In my own opinion most of the churches need revival. So, please pray for the Bulgarian churches. Please pray for my ministry and that God would give me fresh messages from His Heart.

FAMILY SEMINAR

On the 5th of October we had a family seminar in our church. The speakers were Theodora Dimitrova, a sister from Dolno Ezerovo, Diana and me. My subject was “The Marital Needs Of The Husband And The Wife”, Teddy spoke on “The Five Love Languages” or how to express our love to one another, and Diana gave practical advises about “Rising And Nurturing Of Our Children”. The common opinion after the seminar was that it was very inspiring and helpful and brought a deep insight in our roles as marital partners and parents. It really motivated us to give our best to build, develop and improve our marriages with the help of God and according to His will. Please pray for more young families from Dolno Ezerovo to be saved and added to the kingdom of God and our church.

THE CHURCH BUILDING

In the beginning of September slowly but with great desire we renewed the work on the Church Building. We have fixed the outer doors and windows of the toilets. We also finished the internal water and channel work. We thank to family Ilievi from L.A., California for the $1000 donation for our church building that we received in the end of October. Now we have started to do the electrical system of the church. Before we start the plaster we should have all the internal doors done and there are six of them into the building that are not ready yet. We should also make the ladder that lead to the garret. After that we will continue with the plaster. Please pray that our dear brothers from SPM would give us one more of their generous gifts. There is much of internal work to be finished before we could enter our new church building.

PUBLISHING AN ARTICLE IN “GLAD TIDINGS HERALD”

The last issue of “Glad Tidings Herald” has published my material called “The Hope of God’s Glory” in 4 pages. This teaching is based upon Romans 5:1-11 and is focused upon 4 questions:

  1. What is our hope?
  2. What is the reason for our hope?
  3. What is the guarantee for our hope?
  4. How to reach the fulfillment for our hope?

STARTING M.A. PROGRAM

With the grace of God I have started an MA program with TCM. This is a miracle and I thank God for it. It is almost free of charge for people from Eastern Europe. We have to pay just $10 tax per course. And also I will have to travel twice a year to The "Big Haus" at Haus Edelweiss in Heiligenkreuz bei Baden, Austria. In 14-19 October was my first subject – Evangelism and Church Growth. My second seminar will be in 4-9 November on History of Christian Doctrine - part 2. These seminars are near Sofia, which is more than 400 km from Bourgas where I live so I have to pay the travel expenses. The stay there is free of charge. Please pray for my ability to learn and for my memory.

CENTER FOR EVANGELISM AND CHURCH MINISTRIES

We have finished the first part of the book Your New Life and continue our studies. The people in the church are inspired because they can check and fill their knowledge about the life of the Christian.

VISITING PEOPLE

In our church we have 4 sisters who are very old and ill and they cannot come to Church. So I regularly visit them to encourage and pray for them. When as a pastor I visit also other people from our congregation I can see that almost all of them are very poor. So please pray for them. And also I think that it would be a good idea if we can buy a chocolate for everybody in the Christmas night. Would you help for this?

THOUGHT: “WAITING TIME IS NEVER WASTED TIME.”

When God tells me what he wants me to do, I can’t wait to do it. But God is seldom in a rush. Abraham had to wait until he was 100 years old until he had his promised son. You may be waiting for God to do something. You may have given up. But God hasn’t given up. God will keep his promises to you. Your waiting time is never wasted time. What is God doing while we wait? A lot of things. God is maturing us in preparation for receiving the promise. God is testing us so that we can see how committed we are to Him. God is working behind the scenes preparing the way. God is using circumstances to position and prepare us to accomplish his vision for our life. We may have to wait, but God’s timing always has a purpose. God will fulfill his promises to us. That’s why, “WAITING TIME IS NEVER WASTED TIME.”

DEAR FRIENDS, You are so precious to us. We would like to thank you for your help, cooperation and prayer. You are part of our ministry and we really appreciate you very much. If you have some needs, please share them with us so that our victories would be common.
