MINISTRY ACTIVITIES: May 2003
OUR FAMILY HAS A NEW MEMBER
In 30th of May God blessed us with a second child – Andrey – baby boy, 4.400kg, 54 cm. The delivery was difficult and the cord was wrapped up twice around baby’s neck and around his hand. This caused choking and Andrey was 36 hours in oxygen tent. Praise God that He saved his life. Both Diana and Andrey are already home and recover themselves after the delivery. We are all well and thank God for His love and mercy.
THE WORK OF THE CHURCH BUILDING IS RENEWD
In April we received money to continue our work on the church building. So, as soon as possible we started the plaster in the main hall.
We also bought pottery and terracotta for the bathrooms and started the work in one of them.
CHILDREN’S FEAST
In 17th of May we had a children’s fest in Dolno Ezerovo. It was conducted by Peter and Radka Petrovi – a Bulgarian family that is specialized in working with children. The attendance of this happening was about 40 children – unexpected number for a church as ours that have not children’s ministry. But many of the children were too small – under 5, and the work was difficult. So in our next children’s feasts we will have special invitations. For now we have decided to have such children feasts every month. So, please pray for this initiative and God’s answer to our desire to meet the next generation with Christ.
REACHING THE LOST
In 30th, 31st May, and 1st of June our church participated in a big evangelization in one of the biggest sport halls in Bourgas. The hall was for about 2000 people and we had an attendance of more than 1200. The main speaker was the evangelist Ekkehart Kroitzritter from Germany. The evangelization was organized by five churches – two Pentecostal churches from Bourgas, one ultra charismatic church, our church and another two smaller churches. We have distributed about 100 posters and more than 1000 leaflets in Dolno Ezerovo. And for the whole Bourgas they have printed 1500 posters and 40,000 leaflets. It was wonderful to see people saved, delivered and healed. Praise God for the love, the anointing and the unity that He gave us during this great event.
The evangelization was great but it is sad to say that the response from the people, especially in Dolno Ezerovo was zero, even negative. We should pray more about this perishing world.
