This Spring New Hope – Bulgaria began with hosting the first Train the Trainer seminar in Eastern Europe. This is the first project of its kind in our country where we not just trained children workers, but trained them to be able and equipped to train other co-workers and begin a multiplication ministry – multiplying the workers for children ministries. We had a wonderful time with 24 teachers that we had the privilege to train with our partners from BCMI (The Bible Club Movement as formerly known and now the Bible Centered Ministries).
We had Bob and Sandy Barber (missionaries with BCM) train 24 Sunday School teachers how to train and equip and prepare other co-workers to serve children and help them know, love and obey God from early in their childhood.
This special time was also the start of our distribution of BCMI’s curriculum for Sunday Schools that we prepared in partnership with BCMI. We put the first 10 Sets of the curriculum into the hands of Sunday School teachers.
We at New Hope – Bulgaria are greatly encouraged to be able to assist the teachers in their ministry to children and in using the Footsteps of Faith Sunday School curriculum.
