What is the important thing that you see happening in Bulgaria today that was not happening 5 years ago?
On January 1st, 2007 Bulgaria joined the EU. This gave the country a new political and economic perspective. Many people in Bulgaria had very high expectations in regard to the economy of the country. But the realities three years later are very different. Bulgaria is still the poorest country in the EU and the church ministries in Bulgaria suffer tremendously from the lack of sufficient funds and equipped and empowered leaders.

Philippians 1:3-6
THE OCCASION FOR WRITING PHILIPANS
The partnership between the minister and the church is one of the main themes in the Epistle to the Philippians. Paul writes this letter in order to express his gratitude to the members of the church in Philippi for the financial support they have sent to him. From Philippians 2:25-30 we understand that the courier who brought their gift, and on his way back to Philippi took Paul’s thanksgiving letter to the Philippians was Epaphroditus.
This Spring New Hope – Bulgaria began with hosting the first Train the Trainer seminar in Eastern Europe. This is the first project of its kind in our country where we not just trained children workers, but trained them to be able and equipped to train other co-workers and begin a multiplication ministry – multiplying the workers for children ministries. We had a wonderful time with 24 teachers that we had the privilege to train with our partners from BCMI (The Bible Club Movement as formerly known and now the Bible Centered Ministries).
We had Bob and Sandy Barber (missionaries with BCM) train 24 Sunday School teachers how to train and equip and prepare other co-workers to serve children and help them know, love and obey God from early in their childhood.

1 Corinthians 15:1-58
The chapter in the Word of God that deals exclusively with the question of the resurrection of the dead is 1 Corinthians Chapter 15. From this chapter we understand that the Corinthians held a position similar to that of Hymenaeus and Philetus in 2 Timothy 2:18. Concerning them, the apostle Paul tells his spiritual son Timothy (2 Timothy 2:16-18):
16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.
This Christmas we had a wonderful service. Here are some pictures from it. As always the children played tha main role in the service which was very refreshing.

These 4 children from Blagovestie Church played their small drama that dealled with the puestion, “What present should we give to Jesus for his birthday?”

Our children from Dolno Ezerovo also had prepared a wonderful program.

We need your parnership in order to reach Dolno Ezerovo with the Gospel. If you had forgot us in the last years, please do not forget us in 2010. We need both your spiritual and financial support!!!
